Stochelo Rosenberg (* 19th February 1968 in Helmond , The Netherlands ) is a Dutch Sinto and jazz - guitarist .

Stochelo Rosenberg began to learn the guitar at the age of ten by listening to the records of his idol Django Reinhardt . At the age of 12, he won first prize in a music competition. In 1992 Guitarrist magazine awarded Rosenberg a gold guitar for his services to the acoustic guitar. Collaboration with other well-known guitarists from the Gipsyswing scene such as Dorado Schmitt , Romane , Angelo Debarre and Biréli Lagrène . He founded the Rosenberg Trio with his cousin Nous'che Rosenberg ( rhythm guitar ) and his brother Nonnie Rosenberg ( double bass ) .
