Mozes Rosenberg

Mozes Rosenberg (* 1983 ) is a Dutch guitarist of gypsy jazz .

Rosenberg comes from a musical family; he is the youngest brother of Stochelo Rosenberg and grew up surrounded by music. He learned to play the guitar; At the age of seven he appeared with his brother's Rosenberg Trio on the television program Het vijfde uur . At the age of 13 he met Paco de Lucia ; in the same year he took part in a master class with Joe Zawinul at the North Sea Jazz Festival .

In 2005 he received international attention for the first time with the album Ready'n Able . In 2009 he performed successfully for the first time at the Django Reinhardt Festival in Samois-sur-Seine , France, in a trio with his two nephews Johnny Rosenberg (rhythm guitar, vocals) and Sani van Mullem (double bass). This group Rosenberg Van Mullem released their debut album Obsession (2010); later she appeared under the name The Rosenbergs , in 2019 also together with Sandro Roy at the Festival Django Amsterdam . In the 2010s Rosenberg also appeared in the Tcha Limberger Trio (album Live in Foix , 2017) and with the Rosenberg Familia ( La Familia , 2015).
