Angelo Debarre (2013)

Angelo Debarre (born August 19, 1962 in Saint-Denis ) is a French Sinto , guitarist and jazz musician . He mainly plays gypsy swing or gypsy jazz .

Career

Angelo Debarre started playing the guitar at the age of eight. His main musical influence was Django Reinhardt . In 1984 he founded the Angelo Debarre Quintet , with which he also went on tour. Debarre played with artists such as Biréli Lagrène , Jon Larsen , Stochelo Rosenberg , Tchavolo Schmitt , Hono Winterstein , Jimmy Rosenberg , Florin Niculescu and Diego Imbert . He also recorded several CDs with the Hot Club de Norvège . At the Djangofest 2004 he performed with Tim Kliphuis . With Romane , Boulou and Elios Ferré he forms the quartet Django 100 .
