David Rosenbaum

David Rosenbaum (born January 22, 1877 in Markt Berolzheim , Franconia ; † August 3, 1958 in Würzburg ) was a German businessman .

Career

Rosenbaum was born as the son of the teacher Hermann Rosenbaum (1853–1933). He attended elementary school in Markt Berolzheim and secondary school in Würzburg. There he set up shop as a wine merchant in 1901. During the National Socialist era he was deported to the Theresienstadt ghetto . After the liberation , he returned to Würzburg and became chairman of the Israelite religious community. At the same time he was the prayer leader for the congregation. He had the community cemetery and the old people's home repaired.
