David Stemmer (born September 30, 1997 in Feldkirch ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper .
Career
Stemmer started his career at SCR Altach . For the 2011/12 season he came to AKA Vorarlberg , where he went through all age groups. In May 2014 he made his debut against SC Schwaz for the amateurs of his regular Altach club in the Regionalliga . In the 2014/15 season he came to seven missions for Altach II, in the 2015/16 season to 21. After the 2015/16 season he left Altach.
After half a year without a club, Stemmer moved to Germany for fifth-class 1. FC Sonthofen in January 2017 . For Sonthofen he made six appearances in the Bayern League . For the 2017/18 season he returned to Austria and joined the regional league club SV Grödig . Without commitment for the club, he moved to league competitor SV Wals-Grünau in February 2018 , for whom he made eight regional league appearances .
For the 2018/19 season he moved to Cyprus to the first division club Anorthosis Famagusta . However, he was not used for anorthosis. In September 2019, Stemmer returned to Austria and switched to the second division club FC Wacker Innsbruck . He made his debut for the Tyroleans in the 2nd division in July 2020 when he was in the starting line-up against SC Austria Lustenau on matchday 29 of the 2019/20 season. After two appearances in the second division for Wacker, he left the club after the 2019/20 season.
