Davor Lamesic ( Bosnian Davor Lamešić ; born October 24, 1983 ) is an Austrian national basketball player of Bosnian-Herzegovinian descent.

Player career

Lamesic came to Austria after the fall of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and was granted Austrian citizenship in 2000. He started his Bundesliga career in the 2004 season with the Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions , with whom he stayed until 2008. In 2008 he gave a short guest appearance in the German Basketball League at the BG Göttingen . From 2008 to 2017 he played at WBC Raiffeisen Wels , which however became the Raiffeisen Flyers Wels club in 2017 . At the end of October 2018, he played his 637th Bundesliga game, becoming the new record holder in Austria's top division.

Lamesic was appointed to the national team for the first time as part of the qualification for the 2013 European Basketball Championship . Further missions followed in the qualifying rounds for the European Championships in 2015 and 2017 .
