Dawit Khinchagishvili ( Georgian დავით ხინჩაგიშვილი ; born July 24, 1982 in Tbilisi ) is a Georgian rugby union player . He plays in the position of the prop (pillar) and is currently under contract with the French top 14 league team Racing Métro 92 . Khinchagishvili has so far played 37 international matches for Georgia , scoring 15 points.

Career

Khinchagishvili began his career in 2003 with the French top 14 league club AS Béziers , for whom he was to play for two years. When AS Béziers relegated in 2005, he moved to the top 14 league club CS Bourgoin-Jallieu. After two years in Bourgoin-Jallieu, he moved to CA Brive .

National team

Khinchagishvili made his debut for the national team on February 22, 2003 with the game against Spain . He played four more games between 2003 and 2004 as part of the European Nations Cup . A friendly match followed in 2005. Another five internationals, including three qualifying matches for the Rugby Union World Cup in France in 2007, in which he scored his first five points with a so-called attempt , and two internationals for the European Nations Cup, he played a year later. In 2007 there were three more international matches as part of the European Nations Cup and group matches at the 6th Rugby Union World Cup in France in 2007 , for which he was able to qualify with Georgia.
