Dawson Brook (also Dawson's Brook called) is a small river in Morris County in the US state of New Jersey . It rises about 1.2 kilometers east of Ironia . It then flows in a south-westerly direction, where after a short distance it passes through the Buttermilk Falls Natural Area . It flows into Burnett Brook about 500 meters outside the nature reserve . The height above sea level is 216 meters and its catchment area is 2.69 square kilometers.
