DeAndre John Lansdowne (born June 6, 1989 ) is an American basketball player who has been under contract with SIG Strasbourg since 2020 .

career

Lansdowne grew up with foster parents in Albuquerque , New Mexico , and played at Sandia High School. Between 2007 and 2011 he played at Fort Lewis College in Colorado . During this time he was used in 123 games of the second NCAA division and posted an average of 15.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.1 basket assists and 1.7 ball wins. With a total of 1861 points, he set a new record in the "eternal best list" of the basketball team at Fort Lewis College.

Four years after the end of his college basketball career , Lansdowne began his professional career in Mexico . For the 2015/16 season he moved to Germany and strengthened the Hertener Löwen in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . Lansdowne attracted attention in the third-highest German league with strong performances and scored an average of 22.5 points as well as 8.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.5 ball wins per game for the Lions in 28 missions. His season best for Herten was 46 points in a duel with Schwelm in mid-December 2015. For Hamburg he scored an average of 12.3 points in 27 games in the 2016/17 season, booked five rebounds and made 2.3 assists.

In July 2017 he was signed by the first division basketball Löwen Braunschweig . In his first Bundesliga season he played 34 games for Lower Saxony, was always in the starting line-up and, as the second-best Braunschweig scorer, scored an average of 14.7 points per game. There were also 4.1 rebounds and 3.3 basket assists per use. In the 2018/19 game year, Lansdowne led Lower Saxony with an average of 18.5 points per game.

At the end of June 2019, he was signed by the Italian first division club Basket Brescia Leonessa . In Brescia's colors, he played 21 Serie A games and scored 13.3 points per use. After a year of play, he left Italy and accepted an offer from the French first division club SIG Strasbourg in June 2020 .
