DeJon Gomes (* 17th November 1989 in Hayward , California ) is an American American football poker players on the position of the safeties . He played for the Washington Redskins in 2011 and 2012 and for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL) in the 2013 season . He missed the 2014 season due to an injury.
DeJon Gomes played college football for the University of Nebraska . He was selected in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Redskins as the 146th player in the fifth round. For the 2013 season he moved to the Detroit Lions. In the pre-season 2014, he injured himself so badly in the game against the Oakland Raiders that he missed the season and was fired by the Lions.
