action

Mike wakes up one night to find that not only is he surrounded by zombies , but he is one himself. However, unlike most other zombies, he can talk and keep his greed for human flesh under control. After a short time he meets a second intelligent zombie, Brent. This persuades him to go looking for his girlfriend Ellie, whom he wanted to propose immediately before his death three years ago. Together with the non-intelligent Zombie Cheese, they set off on their way. They are hunted by Thomas and his assistants, who have been hired by unspecified government agencies.
On the way, they are picked up by Cliff, who wants to scatter the ashes of his late wife in Lake Michigan . When they arrive in Mike's hometown after Cliff's death, it turns out that Ellie left Mike just before his death. In addition, Mike died because he was shot by Ellie's father and subjected to a military experiment. The situation comes to a head, until finally everyone involved comes together in front of Ellie's father's house, where Mike confesses his love to her.

Reviews

"DeadHeads" has a fantastic idea at its core, but the directors Brett Pierce and Drew T. Pierce only half implemented it. The beginning reveals an exciting concept, which in terms of content, however, presents itself as very poor in ideas. What remains is a very entertaining zombie fun with falling apart leading actors who travel stupidly and mindlessly across the USA, only to find the meaning of their, meanwhile dead, life. Interesting for fans, everyone else prefers to grab the classics straight away. "

“Reminds a bit of films like A little bit Zombie or The Night of the Living Loser . Quite funny zombie comedy. But it doesn't really offer much that you haven't seen yet. "

“Romantic zombie comedy road movie with a few new ideas. Genre fans get their money's worth here. "
