Dean Podgornik
Dean Podgornik (born July 3, 1979 ) is a former Slovenian cyclist .
Dean Podgornik was able to win a stage in the Tour of Slovenia in 2001 and 2002 . In 2002 he was also second overall and he won two races at the Flachgau Cycling Days. In 2003 he drove for the Perutnina Ptuj team , where he won the two one-day races, Grand Prix Istria 2 and Grand Prix Krka , as well as one stage each on the Olympia's Tour and the Tour of Serbia . In 2004 he switched to the Tenax cycling team , where he took part in the Giro d'Italia and became the Slovenian time trial champion. In 2006 Podgornik switched to the Plast-Recycling-Austria team , where he won a stage of the Tour of Styria. In 2010 he won two stages and the overall victory of the Tour du Maroc , the following year he finished his cycling career with the Manisaspor Cycling Team .
