Velký Třebešov ( Groß Trebeschau ) is a village in the Czech Republic . It is located two kilometers west of Česká Skalice on the European route 67 and belongs to the Okres Náchod .
history
Velký Třebešov was first mentioned in 1355 in connection with the local parish church of St. Stephen, which belonged to the Dobruška deanery . In 1917 Velký Třebešov was united with the previously independent municipality Malý Třebešov. Both Velký and Malý Třebešov used to have a manor house with a fortress .
Velký Třebešov was in the 14th century in the possession of Mr. Berka von Dubá and Ryzmburk, who sold it in 1404 to the Augustinian monastery in Jaroměř . After Emperor Sigismund sold the monastery farms in 1437 , Malý Třebešov came to Jaromír Jiřík z Chvalkovic . In 1560 Velký and Malý Třebešov came to the Ryzmburk rule . 1611 acquired both villages Marvart Stranovský z Sovojovic and two years later Albrecht Václav Smiřický von Smiřice . He incorporated both localities of his rule Nachod , with which they remained connected until the patrimonial rule was replaced . The fortress in Malý Třebešov, which is described in the purchase contract of 1613 as being made of stone and has two floors, then served as a manor . The fortress in Velký Třebešov no longer existed at that time.
