history

In the course of the reclamation of the area by the Břevnov monastery , colonists were given a small piece of forest on the stone in 1255. The first written evidence of Hayniczdorf can be found in 1393 in the land register of the Braunau monastery . The village belonged to the monastery property, its inhabitants lived from agriculture and forestry, since the 19th century mainly from flax and line weaving and trout farming in the river.

From 1850 Heinzendorf formed a part of the community Dittersbach in the judicial district of Braunau . In 1868 Heinzendorf was assigned to the Braunau district . In the same year, the village of Dittersbach broke away and formed its own community. In 1875 the local line Halbstadt - Mittelsteine, running through the Steinetal, began operating . As a result, industrial companies settled.

In 1892 Anselm Heinzel set up a mechanical weaving mill, which in 1918 had grown to 352 looms. The company had been running a dye works in Dittersbach since 1879, which at the beginning of the 20th century was the largest in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Residential houses were built for the workers and employees of the “Gebrüder Heinzel” company. Lime mining was shut down around 1900. In 1930 739 people lived in the village. In 1948 the large estates of the Broumov Benedictine Abbey were expropriated. In 1961 it was incorporated into Ruprechtice . From 1986 to 1991 Hynčice was a district of Meziměstí. The community has existed again since the beginning of 1992.

In the southwest of the village near Jetřichov are the remains of the Laudon Chapel, which was built in memory of General Laudon.
