Lambert Maria Wintersberger

Lambert Maria Wintersberger (born April 23, 1941 in Munich , † October 28, 2013 in Walbourg ) was a German painter .

life and work

Wintersberger began in 1958 as a decoration painter, church painter, glass painter and mosaic maker. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich . From 1961 to 1964 he attended the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence. In the following years until 1968 he worked as a freelance artist in Berlin, where he belonged to the Großgörschen 35 group. Between 1966 and 1990, Wintersberger took part in the annual exhibitions of the German Association of Artists as a full member a total of eleven times .

From 1974 to 1977 he took on a teaching position at the Düsseldorf Art Academy .
