Kramolna ( German Krumolna ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located two kilometers northwest of Náchod and belongs to the Okres Náchod .
history
The village of Kramolna was first mentioned in 1415. It belonged to the Nachod lordship , with which it remained connected until 1848. For the year 1651 there are 42 inhabitants, two of whom were designated as gardeners and the rest as Chalupner . There is evidence of a stately forester's house and seven fish ponds for the first half of the 18th century.
During the Seven Years' War , the Prussian Lieutenant General Otto Magnus von Schwerin and his regiment invaded the Nachoder area on September 17, 1756 . It consisted of 35,000 soldiers camped north of the villages of Vysokov and Kramolna. At the end of July 1758, fighting between Austrian and Prussian troops took place in this area.
During the War of the Bavarian Succession in 1778, the Prussian King Friedrich II lived for a few days in house no. 39 in Kramolna. When Napoleonic withdrew from Russia in 1813, and in the German War of 1866 Prussian and Austrian troops passed through Kramolna.
After the abolition of patrimonial Kramolna, Trubějov and Lhotky formed one municipality. Although Kramolna had a higher population, the municipal administration was in Trubějov. At the request of the residents of Kramolna, it became an independent municipality in 1876. In addition to agriculture, house weaving was economically significant. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1883. From 1961 to 1970 Kramolna again belonged to the Trubějov municipality. In 1965 Kramolna had 516 inhabitants.
