history
The municipality of Zábrodí was created in 1960 through the merger of the villages of Zábrodí, Horní Rybníky and Končiny.
Zábrodí
Zábrodí belonged to the Červená Hora rule and came with this to the Riesenburg rule in the 15th century . In 1582 it became part of the Nachod rule , with which it remained connected until the abolition of patrimonial rule in 1848. For the year 1794 153 inhabitants and twenty houses are recorded. The village remained small and insignificant; In addition to agriculture, the economic basis of the inhabitants was home weaving. In 1901 Zábrodí got its own school house.
Horní Rybníky
The first mention of Horní Rybníky is recorded for 1447, when it was owned by the Straka of Nedabylice . After numerous changes of ownership, it fell to the Nachod rule in the 18th century. In 1848 it became an independent municipality and in 1855 it was united with Horní Radechova. From 1894 to 1960 it was again an independent municipality. Horní Rybníky's children were initially enrolled in Horní Radechova, from 1886 onwards they could be taught in Horní Rybníky. A schoolhouse was built ten years later.
Končiny
This district belonged to the municipality Horní Radechová until the merger with Zábrodí in 1960.
