Jetřichov ( German  Dittersbach ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers northwest of Broumov and belongs to the Okres Náchod .

geography

The Waldhufendorf extends over four kilometers along the stream Jetřichovský potok ( Dittersbach ) in the Braunauer Bergland at the northern foot of the Falkengebirge in a right side valley of the river Steine . To the east rises the Šance ( Schanzenberg , 493 m) and in the south of the Honský Špičák ( Spitzberg , 652 m). The railway between Meziměstí and Broumov runs north of the village in the Stony Valley . The Ruprechtice train station is already on the corridors of the village of the same name, Ruprechtice , on the opposite side of the valley , which, with Jetřichov from north to south, forms a closed settlement on both sides of the stones. In the west, one kilometer from the town, the Náchod - Meziměstí railway runs , where the Březová u Broumova railway station is located .

Neighboring towns are Ruprechtice in the north, Hynčice in the northeast, Hejtmánkovice in the east, Červený Dvůr, Broumov and Křinice in the southeast, America and Hony in the south, Lachov and Bohdašín in the southwest, Březová and Vernéřovice in the west and Meziměstí in the northwest.

history

In the course of the reclamation of the area by the Břevnov monastery , the place was laid out after 1255 by colonists along the inflow of the stones. The first mention of the after his locator as Dieterspach named village took place in 1395. Dittersbach was one of the pin Broumov associated villages. Its inhabitants lived from agriculture.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dittersbach formed from 1849 with the districts Heinzendorf and Birkicht and the hamlets of Semmering and Alpendörfel a municipality in the judicial district of Braunau . Heinzendorf and Birkicht broke up in 1868, in the same year the community was assigned to the Braunau district . After the start of rail traffic between Chotzen and Halbstadt in 1875, the railway from Halbstadt to Braunau was laid along the stones in the same year. This led to the settlement of businesses in Dittersbacher Grund on the stone. A flax spinning mill, finishing and bleaching facility were built in the northern corridors , as well as a mill and an outbuilding .

In 1879, the Anselm Heinzel company converted the bleaching plant into a dye works, which at the beginning of the 20th century was the largest in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. At that time, the spinning mill had also switched to cotton fabrics. In 1885 Dittersbach had 1,181 inhabitants, in 1913 there were 1503. Sand pits were operated south of the village. After the Munich Agreement in 1938, Dittersbach, which was mostly inhabited by Germans, was added to the German Reich and until 1945 belonged to the Braunau district . In 1945 and 1946 the German residents were expelled. In 1961 the Okres Broumov was dissolved and Jetřichov assigned to the Okres Náchod . On July 1, 1985, the village was incorporated into Meziměstí; since September 1, 1990 the community Jetřichov exists again. The dye works is now part of the Barum Continental as company
