Jasenná (German Jasena , 1939-1945 Eschen ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers southeast of Jaroměř and belongs to the Okres Náchod .
geography
Jasenná is located in the southernmost part of the Okres Náchod and borders with its corridors on the Okres Rychnov nad Kněžnou and the Okres Hradec Králové . The village is 4.5 km long and extends from Starý Ples to the southeast. Neighboring towns are Rychnovek and Šestajovice in the north, Slavětín nad Metují and Rohenice in the east, Králova Lhota and Libřice in the south, Nový Ples , Vlkov and Rasošky in the west, and Jaroměř and Starý Ples in the northwest.
history
Jasenná was first mentioned in 1280 when the Bohemian King Wenceslaus II sold the towns of Jasenná and Černilov to Hynek Čeňek von Leipa . From this Jasenná bought Raimund von Lichtenburg . Later it was owned by Hynek d. Ä. from Dubá ( Hynek starší or Hajman z Dubé ) to Náchod , who sold it to the Bohemian King Charles IV . Jasenná donated Černilov to the mansionaries of the Church of St. Vitus at Prague Castle . In 1353 it fell back to King Karl. In 1408 Jasennà was called a town. In 1420 King Sigismund Jasenná together with Černilov transferred Hynek ( Hynko ) von Rothenburg to his follower . In 1467 it got the Trčka from Lípa , which attached it to the Smiřice dominion .
Jasenná is characterized by agriculture. Most of the residents work in the neighboring towns of Hradec Králové, Jaroměř and Nové Město nad Metují .
