Horní Radechová (German Ober Radechow , also Ober Radechau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers southwest of Hronov on the upper reaches of the Radechovka and belongs to the Okres Náchod .
history
Horní Radechová was first mentioned in writing in 1402. At that time it was part of the parish of Náchod and belonged to the Nachod rule , with which it remained connected until the abolition of patrimonial rule in 1848. A school building was built in 1811 and teaching began in 1812. In 1843 Antonín Zima donated a new bell for the chapel. In 1849 Horní Radechová, Horní Rybníky and Dolní Rybníky formed a municipality. In 1884 the volunteer fire brigade was founded. In 1890, 1158 inhabitants lived in the municipality, the number of houses was 162. In 1921 the Czech place name was changed from Horní Radechov to Horní Radechová . Electrification took place in 1928. In 1934 the community built a poor house. Dolní Rybníky lost its status as a district in 1950. On July 1, 1985 Slavíkov was incorporated.

The community consists of the districts Horní Radechová ( Ober Radechow ) and Slavíkov ( Slawikau ) and the settlement Dolní Rybníky ( low pond ).
