history

The Sendražský Kopec used to serve as a provincial observatory. In the 12th century a fortress belonging to the Sendražský family is said to have arisen, around which today's village was laid out. His son Ješek Sendražský had to cede the holdings and property due to excessive indebtedness to the castle lordship Krčín , with which it came in 1501 to the lordship of Nové Město nad Metují . On August 30, 1403, the subjects in Sendraž and Mezilesí took part in the erection of a memorial altar for Beneš Silný of Dubá in the Náchoder Laurentius Church . After the fortress burned down in 1546, it remained desolate. After the death of Johann von Pernstein , Sendraž came under the Nachod rule , with which it remained connected until the patrimonial rule was abolished in 1848.

In the territorial reform of 1960 Libchyně (Libchin) and Jestřebí were incorporated. Both places broke up in 1990.
