Debby Hess

Debby Hess (born 1963 in Boston , Massachusetts ) is an Israeli Miss contestant and psychologist .

Life

Hess was born the daughter of an English teacher. When she was five years old, she emigrated to Israel. She danced in a jazz band in Jerusalem and has appeared in several student films. In 1981 she appeared in the film "First Love" with Yiftach Katzur . In 1982 she took part in the contest for the Miss Israel election and won it. As such, she represented Israel in the Miss Universe competition . After studying psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem , she worked as a clinical adolescent psychologist and is also active in developmental psychology .
