Deborah Sosimenko
Deborah Sosimenko ( Deborah Anne "Debbie" Sosimenko ; born April 5, 1974 in Sydney ) is a former Australian hammer thrower .
From 1992 to 1999 she was Australian champion eight times in a row. She won bronze at the 1997 Universiade and gold at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. After a fifth place at the World Athletics Championships in Seville in 1999 , she reached the same placement at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney with her personal best of 67.95 m.
After she was eliminated in qualification at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, she ended her sporting career.
