Dedrick D. Gobert , actually Dedrick Dwayne Fontenot (born November 25, 1971 in Louisiana , USA ; † November 19, 1994 in Mira Loma , now Jurupa Valley , California , USA), other pseudonyms V-Dub , or Nympho , was a US -american actor .

Dedrick Gobert lived in Inglewood . He had his first film role at the age of 19 in the movie Boyz n the Hood . In Poetic Justice (1993) he played another supporting role. His last film was Higher Learning in 1995 .

Gobert competed in illegal street races in Los Angeles , California .

On November 19, 1994, Dedrick Gobert was shot dead during an altercation as a result of an illegal drag race . Sonny Enraca was sentenced to death as the perpetrator.
