dEFDUMp was a hardcore punk band from Tetingen, Luxembourg , founded in 1994 and disbanded in 2008. She has released five studio albums.
history
At first the band existed under the name DUMP, which was composed of the first letters of the four founding members. When a second guitarist joined them, the name changed to DUMMP. When he left the band, the band name changed again to dEFDUMp.
One of their best-known supporters was Max Cavalera , singer and guitarist for Sepultura and Soulfly , with whom they often toured. He often wore a dEFDUMp T-shirt to appearances, interviews and in photos to support her in this way.
On September 27, 2008, the band played their farewell concert at Club Den Atelier in Luxembourg City.
style
The band tried to escape all definitions of music and styles. “Our motives are solely to make music we like and to make the music sound the way we think it should sound,” says “Usel” the singer of the band.
According to their own statement, the band wanted to respect life with all its facets and all forms of life, as well as to find oneself.
