The Degerndorfer Weiher is an artificial pond near Degerndorf in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen . Just as in the Sonderhamer Weiher in front of it, the Lüßbach is dammed in the Degerndorfer Weiher , which flows into the Starnberger See near Percha.
The pond originally belonged to the Beuerberg monastery and was used for carp breeding, later it was privately owned by the Bierbichler family from Ambach for a long time. This gave the pond to the Münsing community in 2015 for a symbolic amount . In 2019, the community leased the pond to the Ammerland fishing association, which also manages the Sonderhamer pond, to ensure better maintenance.
Bathing in the Degerndorfer Weiher has been banned for a long time due to poor water quality. It is one of only 4 bodies of water in the Bad Tölz Wolfratshausen district that does not have bathing water quality.
There is currently (as of 2017) a bathing ban in the Degerndorfer Weiher.
