The Dehm Publishing is a music publisher based in Limburg, Lahn .
history
The publishing house was founded in 2007 by Patrick Dehm . From 1996 to 2013 Dehm was chairman of the working group for church music and youth pastoral care in the Diocese of Limburg . The task was to help the congregations to find new and contemporary songs. The aim was to musically pick up on the attitude towards life and the topics of young people and young adults. The resulting songbooks needed a legal form and professional distribution channels. Because the diocese of Limburg did not want to do this in terms of personnel, Patrick Dehm founded Dehm Verlag in 2007.
Publisher profile
Dehm Verlag mainly publishes compositions and texts from the field of contemporary church music. Some of the songs have also found their way into the main part and the diocesan appendices of the Catholic praise of God , as well as the main part or the regional appendices of the Evangelical Hymnal .
Events
Dehm Verlag offers its own training courses on singing together. Members from youth choirs, church choirs and bands as well as everyone who is interested in new songs are invited to these days. Dehm Verlag offers around ten "open singing" annually in cooperation with educational institutes or parishes.
