Deir al-Asad ( Hebrew : דֵיר אֶל-אַסַד; Arabic : دير الأسد) is an Arab city near Karmiel in Galilee in Israel. In 2018 there were 12,348 people in Deir al-Asad.
From 2003 to 2008 the places Deir al-Asad, Majd al-Krum and Bi'ina formed the city of Shaghur. The Knesset decided in 2008 to revoke this status from Shaghur, and the places became independent again.
