Deirdre Watkinson

Deirdre Watkinson (born June 4, 1941 ) is a former British sprinter and middle distance runner .

In 1966 she won silver for England starting at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston over 440 yards in 54.1 s and was eliminated over 880 yards in the lead. At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest , she reached the semi-finals over 400 m .
