Dejan Vinčić (born September 15, 1986 in Slovenj Gradec ) is a Slovenian volleyball player .
Career
Vinčić began his career in 2004 with OK Šoštanj Topolšica. With the club he immediately became champion and runner-up in the first two years. He then played for OK Salonit Anhovo Kanal from 2006 to 2008 and for ACH Volley Ljubljana for the following four years . During this time he won other championships and was cup winner. In the 2012/13 season, the setter played in Poland for Skra Bełchatów . In 2014 he became Turkish champion with Maliye Milli Piyango SK. In the 2014/15 season he was active in France for Narbonne Volley. With the Slovenian national team he won the European volleyball league in 2015 . In the same year he reached the final of the European Championship with Slovenia , which was lost to France. He then moved to Beauvais Oise UC within the French league . In the 2016/17 season he played for Yenisei Krasnoyarsk in Russia . He then went back to Poland and now played for Czarni Radom . At the European Championship 2019 he was again in the final with Slovenia, this time against Serbia. In 2020 he was signed by the German Bundesliga club VfB Friedrichshafen .
