Delling is an estate in the Aubachtal near Seefeld in the Starnberg district . It is owned by the City of Munich .

history

The place was mentioned as a property of the Lords of Telingen in the early 12th century. Delling Castle played an important role in the fighting between the Andechs and Wittelsbachers and was destroyed in 1243. In 1248 the hamlet became a Bavarian duke's fief. In 1301 it fell into the possession of the Wildecker. The first reference to the Hofmark Delling can be found in 1442. The owners of the Hofmark changed over the years: Tuxenhauser (1445), Pechthaler (1494), Lung von Planegg (1527), Schöttl (1535). In 1580 the Hofmark passed into the possession of the Seefeld rulership via Duke Wilhelm . In 1972, Graf Toerring sold it to Baron Hirsch from Planegg , who in turn sold it to the City of Munich in 1981. The Schluifeld estate also belonged to Hofmark Delling .
