Delmo da Silva
Delmo da Silva (born June 9, 1954 in Nilópolis ; † February 24, 2010 ibid.) Was a Brazilian sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
In 1975 he won the South American Athletics Championships in Rio de Janeiro and won bronze at the Pan American Games in Mexico City with his personal best of 45.53 s.
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he reached the semifinals.
In 1977 he was third in the 4 x 400 meter relay with the American team at the Athletics World Cup in Düsseldorf and defended his title at the South American Championships in Montevideo .
