The Demminer See is a lake north of Wredenhagen and east of Zepkow in the area of the municipality of Eldetal in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The water with a relatively wide belt of reeds has a size of 8.7 hectares and is 66.5 m above sea level. NHN . The maximum size of the lake is 430 meters by 320 meters. Tributaries are only ditches from the meadows in the vicinity. Lake Demmin is drained via a ditch to the Mönchsee , which is 1900 meters south .
The lake can be reached from Wredenhagen via a hiking trail through the Demminholz that surrounds the lake. There, next to a jetty on the east bank, you can visit a charcoal burner hut.
