Dennis Blake
Dennis Blake ( Dennis Anthony Blake ; born September 6, 1970 ) is a former Jamaican sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, he reached the quarter-finals and was eliminated in the 4-by-400-meter relay in the preliminary run.
In 1993 he won silver at the Central American and Caribbean Championships. At the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart , he came in seventh place with the Jamaican 4 x 400 meter relay.
At the Commonwealth Games in Victoria in 1994 and at the Pan American Games in Mar del Plata in 1995 , he won silver with the Jamaican relay. At the 1995 World Cup in Gothenburg and at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, he contributed to winning the silver and bronze medals for the Jamaican relay team with preliminary stakes.
He set his personal best of 45.68 s on June 18, 2000 in Chapel Hill .
