The Dennis Knoll is a 400 m hill on the southwest coast of Black Island in the Antarctic Ross Archipelago . It rises 3 km southwest of Mount Vision with an ice-free western slope .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2007 after Dennis Hoffman, who in 2006 could look back on 20 years in the service of the United States Antarctic Program as a carpenter and computer technician.
