Dennis Koeckstadt

Dennis Koeckstadt (born October 20, 1979 in Gütersloh ) is a German jazz and blues musician ( piano ); According to Jürgen Wölfer , he is one of the most talented boogie-woogie players of the younger generation.

Koeckstadt is a student of Christian Rannenberg . He played with Rannenberg, Frank Muschalle , Vince Weber , Axel Zwingenberger , the Mojo Blues Band and the Cologne Boogie Woogie Company . With his brother Jan, who is a drummer, and the pianist Stefan Ulbricht, he recorded the album Shift It Up in 2003 . From 2003 until the beginning of 2015 he was a pianist in the blues band BB & The Blues Shacks ; he left the band for family reasons. He is the managing director of Rosenstock Productions , which produces music videos and commercial spots.
