Depot I from Albrechtice nad Vltavou
The deposit of Albrechtice nad Vltavou (also hoard of Albrechtice nad Vltavou ) is a deposit of the Early Bronze Age Aunjetitz culture from Albrechtice nad Vltavou in Jihočeský kraj , Czech Republic . It dates between 2000 and 1800 BC. The depot is now in the South Bohemian Museum in Budweis .
Find history
The depot was discovered before 1918, the exact circumstances of the find are unknown. When it was bought by the Budweiser Museum, it was stated that it should come from a hill, which implies that it is grave goods. An address as a hoard seems more likely.
In the 19th century, a second deposit was found in Albrechtice nad Vltavou , but it dates from the late Bronze Age .
composition
The depot consists of two bronze objects , which Václav Moucha classifies as ring bars , while Tilmann Vachta classifies them as eyelet neck rings . Only one ring is completely preserved. It is modernly deformed and broken. Only a fragment of the second has survived, which is also recently deformed and broken. The surfaces of the two rings are roughly faceted .
