Albrechtice nad Vltavou (German Albrechtitz ) is located in the area of the Písecké Hory ( Písek Mountains ) on the Vltava River in the Písek district , about twelve kilometers southeast of Písek ( Czech Republic ).
history
The original town from the 12th century was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War and developed again into a larger village.
The existence of a pastor can be proven since 1384.
With the establishment of the Nezdaschow parish in 1752, the Albrechtice Church was downgraded to a branch church and placed under it. In 1786 a local church was established in Albrechtice.
In 1840 Albrechtitz consisted of 81 houses with 61 inhabitants. A local church, a localist apartment and a school existed in the village under the patronage of the manor; there was also a keeper's house and an inn and a mill below the village. The parish was Hladna ( Hladná ), Audraž ( Údraž ) and the one-layer Reyzykow ( Rejsíkov ). Until the middle of the 19th century Albrechtitz always remained subordinate to Gut Nezdaschow .
Attractions
- Romanesque Church of St. Peter and Paul (1190). It owes its present appearance to the baroque renovations in the 18th century. Original Romanesque paintings have been preserved. In the church there is the grave of the knight Johann Bohuslaw Audřitzky von Kestřan auf Audraž († 1610)
- 108 chapels at the cemetery with paintings by local artists and poems by folk artists from the 19th century.
