After the Battle of White Mountain , the estate of Peter von Schwanberg was confiscated and in 1621 the Eggenberg owners of the Worlik domain. After the male line of Eggenberg died out in 1717, the Schwarzenberg family inherited their property.
In 1837 the village of Probulow on Čimelitzer Strasse consisted of 46 houses with 317 inhabitants. There was a brickworks in Probulow . The stately Worliker zoo stretched to the east. The parish was Altsattel ( Staré Sedlo ). Until the middle of the 19th century the village remained subject to the Fideikommissherrschaft Worlik, including the allodial estates Zalužan, Zbenitz and Bukowan.
After the abolition of patrimonial Probylov formed from 1850 a district of the Orlík municipality in the district administration Písek and the judicial district Mirovice. In 1880 the Probylov parish was established . In response to pressure from the long-time residents, the municipal council took the initiative in 1900 to found a volunteer fire brigade. The official place name Probulov was introduced in 1924. In 1935 Charles VI was. zu Schwarzenberg appointed honorary member of the fire brigade. In 1964 Probulov was incorporated into Králova Lhota . In the 1991 census, the village had 67 inhabitants. On January 1, 1992 Probulov broke away from Králova Lhota and formed its own community. In 2001 there were 50 houses and 57 people in Probulov.
