The monastery was destroyed by the Hussites in 1420 , and all documents were lost. Then the Klingenberg burgrave Jan Hájek von Hodětín struck the orphaned monastery property of the royal rule Klingenberg. After the Hussites besieged Klingenberg Castle in 1430, King Sigismund pledged the rule to Ulrich II von Rosenberg in 1431 because he feared that his burgrave Kunata Kapléř would soon overflow to the rebels. In 1473 Heinrich V von Rosenberg left a quarter of the property of the House of Rosenberg , including the Klingenberg pledge, to his cousin Bohuslav V von Schwanberg . In 1575 Christoph von Schwanberg bought the Lordship of Klingenberg and Mühlhausen from the Hofkammer on Worlik and connected them with Worlik. After the Battle of the White Mountain , the estate of Peter von Schwanberg was confiscated and in 1621 the Eggenberg owners of the estate. After the male line of Eggenberg died out in 1717, the Schwarzenberg family inherited their property. Until 1736 the mayor in Branice was responsible for the lower jurisdiction. In 1840 Stehlowitz consisted of 24 houses with 237 inhabitants. The pastor was Bernarditz . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village always remained subordinate as part of the rule of Klingenberg to the Fideikommissherrschaft Worlik, including the allodial goods Zalužan, Zbenitz and Bukowan.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Stehlovice / Stehlowitz from 1850, a municipality in the district and in the judicial district Milevsko. The voluntary fire brigade was founded in 1886. On November 20, 1889, the Tábor - Milevsko - Písek - Ražice railway began traffic; However, the trains rolled past the southern outskirts of Stehlovice without stopping, the next station was in Branice. In 1910 the village consisted of 32 houses and had 250 inhabitants. In 1930 there were 209 people living in the village's 35 houses, compared to 240 in 1940. In autumn 1945, Stehlovice was connected to the electricity network. The Stehlovice railway station was established in the 1950s. After the Okres Milevsko was abolished, Branice was assigned to the Okres Písek in late 1960 . In 1964 it was incorporated into Branice . On January 1, 1993, Stehlovice broke away from Branice. Between 1997 and 1998 a new syringe house was built, which also houses the municipal office.
