Červená 2. díl , also Červená II (German Tscherwena 2nd part , also Čerwena 2nd part ) is a settlement in the municipality of Květov in the Czech Republic . It is located eleven kilometers southwest of Milevsko in South Bohemia and belongs to the Okres Písek .

Červená 2. díl is located in the Milevská pahorkatina, part of the Central Bohemian Hills. The settlement lies below the confluence of the Hrejkovický creek on the right bank of the Orlík reservoir . The Obora (570 m) rises to the east, the Otava (453 m) in the southwest.

Neighboring towns are U Moravců, U Kloboučníků, V Dolanech and Kučeř in the north, U Křížku, Vusi , Dolnice, Tyrolský Dum and Rukáveč in the Northeast, Skalka, Branice and Stehlovice the east, Jetětice , Jetětické Samoty, Habr, Truhlařov and Cervena in the southeast, Zálesí, Mlačina, Babák and Struhy in the south, Vlastec , Červený Újezdec and Tukleky in the south-west, Zběrov and Oslov in the west, and Strouha, Dejmov, Štědronín, Svatá Anna , Zvíkovské Podhradí and Komora in the north-west.

history

The place and the church Červená were founded in 1189 by Georg von Mühlhausen's ( Jiři z Milevska ) mother Zdislava. In 1251 Červená was listed among the possessions of the Premonstratensian Monastery Mühlhausen , which also held the church patronage. The monastery was destroyed by the Hussites in 1420 . The Červená parish became extinct during the Hussite Wars and became a branch of the Záhoří parish . From 1430 the village Předbor belonged to Radešín. In 1437 Ulrich II von Rosenberg bought Jetětice and added it to his Klingenberg pledge. In 1473 Heinrich V von Rosenberg left a quarter of the property of the House of Rosenberg , including the Klingenberg pledge, to his cousin Bohuslav V von Schwanberg . In 1575 Christoph von Schwanberg bought the Lordship of Klingenberg and Mühlhausen from the Hofkammer on Worlik and connected them with Worlik. After the Battle of the White Mountain , the estate of Peter von Schwanberg was confiscated and in 1621 the Eggenberg owners of the estate. After the male line of Eggenberg died out in 1717, the Schwarzenberg family inherited their property. In 1729 Adam Franz Karl zu Schwarzenberg had a parish again set up in Čerwena and the rectory built. School lessons began at the same time. Until 1736 the mayor in Branice was responsible for the lower jurisdiction.

In 1840, the village of Čerwena, largely on the right bank of the Vltava, consisted of 31 scattered houses with 203 inhabitants. To Čerwena belonged the single layers Čerwena , Ilowitzer mill ( Jílovecký Mlýn ), Saniker mill ( Saník ) and a house of the single layer Na Samotech ( Jetětické Samoty ). In the village there was the parish church of St. Bartholomew and a school. There were also two inns. Čerwena was the parish and school location for Wusy , Jetietitz , Kwietow and Kučeř . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village always remained subordinate as part of the rule of Klingenberg to the Fideikommissherrschaft Worlik, including the allodial goods Zalužan, Zbenitz and Bukowan.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Cervena / Čerwena 1850 a district of the municipality Jetětice in the district and the district court Milevsko. Between 1886 and 1889, the Červená nad Vltavou railway station and a railway bridge on the Tábor - Milevsko - Písek - Ražice railway line across the Vltava valley were built by the Červená single shift. At the beginning of the 20th century, Červená had expanded beyond the boundaries of the Jetětice cadastre. In addition to the Červená 1. díl belonging to Jetětice, a distinction was made between Červená 2. díl ( belonging to Vůsí ) and Červená 3. díl (left of the Vltava, belonging to Oslov ).

Between 1956 and 1963, the Orlík Dam was built , flooding the Červená 1. díl and Červená 3. díl and the Jílovec, Saník, Šejharův Mlýn and Šimek layers. The Church of St. Bartholomew was moved to its new location northwest of Červená 2. díl in 1960. After the Okres Milevsko was abolished, Červená 2. díl was assigned to the Okres Písek in late 1960 . In 1964 Červená 2. díl was incorporated together with Vůsí to Květov and in 1976 to Kučeř . Since November 24th, 1990 Červená 2. díl belongs again to the municipality of Květov.

Attractions

  • Church of St. Bartholomäus, the Romanesque building erected in the 12th century was moved from the floodplain to its current location as part of the construction of the dam. The two bells were cast in 1633 and 1637. The grave of the governor of Podkarpatská Rus Province , Antonín Rozsypal (1866–1937) is located in the cemetery .
