Tyrolský dům (German Tyrolean house ) is a settlement in the municipality of Květov in the Czech Republic . It is located one and a half kilometers southwest of Rukáveč in South Bohemia and belongs to the Okres Písek .

geography

Tyrolský Dům is located in the Milevská pahorkatina, which is part of the Central Bohemian hill country. The settlement lies above the basin of an unnamed stream in the Kopaniny forest area within the Květovská obora game reserve. To the south runs the road between Květov and Branice , which at the same time forms the border to the Rukávečská obora game reserve adjoining to the south. The Vinice (552 m) rises to the northeast, the Obora ( Woboraberg , 570 m) in the southeast , the Jirouškův vrch (552 m) to the south, the Oranice (538 m) in the southwest and the Mlynářův vrch (512 m) and the Karlův to the northwest vrch ( Buchenberg , 535 m).

Neighboring towns are Velká, Pazderna and Osek in the north, Rukáveč in the northeast, Líšnice and Okrouhlá in the east, Branice in the southeast, Skalka, Stehlovice and Jetětice in the south, Červená 2. díl and Vůsí in the southwest, Dolnice and Květov in the west and Svatý Jan and Hamr in the northwest.

In addition to the Worliker zoo, the Kopaniny forest served as a hunting ground for the owners of the Worlik mit Klingenberg estate . Between 1810 and 1814, Prince Charles II of Schwarzenberg had a hunting lodge built in the Alpine style in the zoo, which later became popularly known as the Jagdschlösschen Tirolerhaus. In 1880, Charles III. Fürst zu Schwarzenberg expand the facility with a kitchen, stables and other outbuildings. On the occasion of his golden wedding anniversary with Wilhelmine Marie zu Oettingen in 1903 the chapel of St. Hubertus erected.
