Laura Nolte (born November 23, 1998 in Unna ) is a German bobsleigh driver .

Life

Laura Nolte started bobsleigh in 2015 . In the 2015/16 season she took part in the OMEGA Youth Series, which served to qualify for the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games . At the two competitions in Innsbruck she took second place in the monobob and won the two competitions in Lillehammer and thus qualified for the Winter Youth Olympic Games . At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games, which were held on the bobsleigh run in Lillehammer, she won the gold medal in the monobob competition on February 20, 2016 after two runs.

Before the 2016/17 season, she and Lena Zelichowski took part in the start-up world championship on September 10, 2016 and the two won the bronze medal behind the Russian duo Nadezhda Sergejewa and Julija Schokschujewa and behind the Romanian duo Andreea Grecemedu and Olivia Franciska Vild . In the 2016/17 season she did not take part in any international competition listed by the IBSF .
