Deptiwka ( Ukrainian Дептівка ; Russian Дептовка Deptowka ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast Sumy with about 1150 inhabitants (2004).
The village, first mentioned in 1678, forms its own district council in the Konotop Rajon near the border with Chernihiv Oblast .
geography
Deptivka lies on the left bank of the Romen , a 111 km long tributary of the Sula . The Konotop Rajon center is 34 km north and the Sumy Oblast center 138 km east of the village.
