The golden pick

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Golden Pick was a youth literature prize that was awarded once a year by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Chicken House publishing house for manuscripts by young authors. The prize was launched in 2010 and was awarded for the last time in 2013.

A five-member jury made up of Tilman Spreckelsen (FAZ) and Anja Kemmerzell (Chicken House Germany), two booksellers who change every year and a writer for young people's books, decided on the winning text. The winning manuscript of "Chicken House" was published as the prize.
