The witcher of Salem
The Witcher of Salem is a series of novels by Bastei Lübbe Verlag , created by Wolfgang Hohlbein , who also wrote most of the episodes. This was a reprint and continuation of the horror magazine series The Witcher - The Fantastic Adventures of Robert Craven of Bastei Verlag . It was published from April 16, 1985 to February 17, 1987 and was later continued as a paperback . The novels initially appeared under the collective pseudonym Robert Craven, but were published in later editions under Hohlbein's own name.
action
The action takes place in 19th century London. “The Witcher” experiences uncanny adventures with the “old men” and their representatives on earth. The series , which Hohlbein designed as a large oeuvre, was based on characters and figures from the Cthulhu myth by HP Lovecraft , who also appears as one of the main characters. The work was reprinted and continued, most recently in the form of e-books ; book novels and games appeared.

Since 2012, all 68 individual titles in the series have also been published as e-books by Lübbe-Verlag , with the prequel On the Trail of the Witcher being published as Volume 1. A uniform cover picture was chosen and the original cover of the magazine novel series was dispensed with. Wolfgang Hohlbein wrote a foreword for some episodes, in which he goes into the history of their origins.
