The perfect rock star (original title: Pixel Perfect ) is an American fantasy film by director Mark AZ Dippé from 2004 with Raviv Ullman , Leah Pipes and Spencer Redford . It is one of the series of Disney Channel Original Movies .

Samantha is the lead singer of the band Zetta Byte , which is not very successful. Her good friend, the computer specialist Roscoe, wants to help her and creates a holographic singer whom he calls Loretta Moderne . To do this, he uses technologies that his father invented. With her, the band achieved their breakthrough, because Roscoe created the hologram according to the wishes of the audience. As Samantha , however, noted that to Roscoe in Loretta begins to fall in love, she becomes jealous. Loretta, on the other hand, would like to be a real person and struggle with her perfection. In the end, she went on the Internet in search of her true identity and thus missed an important appearance. Samantha sees her chance and takes the stage - disguised as Loretta. However , she was seriously injured while crowdsurfing ; the disguise is blown and she has to go to a hospital. Loretta learns of the accident and connects to Samantha's brain via an EKG device. There she meets Samantha and realizes that even the imperfect human life is fraught with dangers. She ensures that Samantha gets well again and appears from now on at the appearances of Samanthas as "good spirit". Roscoe, on the other hand, realizes his true feelings for Samantha and the two become a couple.
