The young couple Moritz and Lola get lost in the Ore Mountains . There Moritz is confronted with his past. Only when a white stag appears does Moritz, who is very strong, thaws and confesses his love to Lola. The deer was a prophecy from his mother that this animal would show him whom he loves.
