Natalia Avelon (real name Natalia Siwek ; born March 29, 1980 in Breslau , Poland ) is a German actress and singer .

life and work

At the age of eight, Natalia Avelon moved to Ettlingen in the Schöllbronn district . It was only there that she learned the German language. She graduated from high school in 2000 at the Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium . As a teenager she discovered her passion for film and, after having worked as a photo model, studied theater studies in Munich .

She began her acting career in 1998 with a few commercials before she was able to gain first experience in the film business through her participation in the television series Verbotene Liebe . Further film roles followed, including appearances in television films and in the prologue of the "Extra-Large" version of the movie Der Schuh des Manitu , published in 2002 .

She played her first major leading role in 2007 as Uschi Obermaier in Das wilde Leben . She also appeared in the video clip for On Fire , the second single from Alec Empire's album The Golden Foretaste of Heaven . For the film Das Wilde Leben , she and Ville Valo recorded a new edition of the hit Summer Wine by Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra . The single was released on January 26, 2007 and reached number two in the German single charts in March . In 2017 she released her debut album, Love Kills . Prominent helpers who worked on the album include Bela B , Betty Dittrich, and Guy Chambers .

Natalia Avelon is also a member of the SWR3 LiveLyrix ensemble .
