It was first broadcast on January 14, 2004 on Sat.1 .

action

A customer dies suddenly in a noble brothel. It is Auxiliary Bishop Ferdinand Strobl. Since the operator, Arno Aschauer, doesn't want any trouble with the police, he decides to dispose of the body.

Prelate Hinter visits Resi and Benno Berghammer to collect signatures. The biology teacher Anton Grill should be suspended because, in the opinion of many community members, he is unsustainable due to his overly open educational classes and excessive alcohol consumption. The inspector, who feels disturbed at dinner, tells his mother that if she signs they are divorced. He had lost his appetite and went to the pub. When Frau Berghammer invites the prelate to dinner, he receives an urgent call and says goodbye without having achieved anything.

When Arno Aschauer and his somewhat stupid Adlatus Charlie Meisriemel are on their way to get rid of the dead person, they are subjected to a police check because the right rear light is not working. However, the patrol officer is not satisfied with that, he really wants to take a look in the trunk. Meisriemel throws him down in the neck with a fatal blow in the edge of his hand.

While the commissioners Benno Berghammer and Sabrina Lorenz inspect the location of the killed policeman the following morning, they are informed that another corpse has been discovered in the men's toilet at a motorway service station. Forensic doctor Dr. Robert Sprung found out during the autopsy that the stranger had died of heart failure. Before he died, he was taking a sexual enhancer and had sexual intercourse. He also ate an opulent meal.

Resi Berghammer clearly recognizes Auxiliary Bishop Ferdinand Strobl in a photo of the deceased, which has finally clarified the identity.

Commissioner Berghammer asks Prelate Hinter about his relationship with the deceased auxiliary bishop, to which he replies that it was characterized by mutual respect. Here comes Dr. Sprung up and reported that a further examination of the serum had shown that the auxiliary bishop had been poisoned with digitalis , which was probably administered via a prepared capsule. The prelate thinks that the teacher Anton Grill is a candidate for this act; lately he had developed a downright pathological hatred of everything religious.

The meanwhile suspended teacher Grill told Commissioner Berghammer that the campaign against him was just a pretext because he advised a 16-year-old student to have an abortion. He had had a clarifying conversation with the auxiliary bishop, who gave in regarding suspension.

Father Matthias observed how the auxiliary bishop was picked up the previous evening by a white stretch limousine with dark windows; However, he is not aware of the brand and registration number. Inspector Lorenz quickly finds out that the car belongs to the brothel owner Arno Aschauer. But he does not want to have known the auxiliary bishop.

Hans Prantner, who cleared the donation accounts of his association for speculative purposes and therefore received a visit from the auxiliary bishop, also has a motive. As a naturopath and osteopath, he has the necessary knowledge - including how to break a neck.

When Anton Grill learns that he is no longer getting any money from the bank because of the loss of his job, and a flashback is given to Prelate Hinter, who should campaign for the decision to be reversed, the teacher goes crazy and drives the prelate's vehicle off the road. In the car, however, is not Hinter, but Father Matthias, who has to be taken to hospital injured.

Victoria Zechmeister, a prostitute from the noble brothel, stays in the "Pension Resi" and poses as a style consultant. She is supposed to approach Benno Berghammer on behalf of Arno Aschauer in order to make him susceptible to blackmail with compromising photos. Resi Berghammer is impressed by the young woman and wants to help a bit because her son is rather reserved. She buys a perfume and deposits it together with a card with a forged signature in Victoria's guest room. The inspector is anything but enthusiastic when Victoria thanks for it, especially since he knew nothing about it.

When Sabrina Lorenz and Benno Berghammer found out from witnesses that Anton Grill was by no means saying goodbye to the auxiliary bishop, but had a loud argument with him, they went to the teacher's home. Since this does not open, the inspector breaks the door open. Grill holds a pistol to his head and tries to shoot himself, but he can't bring himself to do it.

In the meantime, the evaluation of the traces at the place where the killed police officer was found shows that the DNA on the cigarillo butt is identical to that attached to another butt that Charlie Meisriemel threw away in front of the inspector. In addition, it turns out that Meisriemel is a martial artist, whereupon Berghammer and Lorenz arrest him.

When the commissioners wanted to visit Arno Aschauer because fiber traces of the auxiliary bishop's clothing were found in his jaguar , they found the brothel owner shot dead in his office; the murder weapon is next to it. Benno Berghammer smells the same perfume when he is dead that his mother bought for Victoria Zechmeister, and he realizes who committed the crime. When questioning the staff, Berghammer sees a box of kirsch chocolates at Leila, who always served the bishop. Such were also found in the stomach of the poisoned clergyman.

Victoria Zechmeister has disappeared, but because she has raved about the Commissioner from Cape Verde , he rushes to the airport, where he actually meets her. She admits to having killed Arno Aschauer because he treated her like dirt. She had loved him before, but everything had changed since this Leila showed up. She was sure that it could only get Leila because she was always stingy with the chocolates. She did not know that the bishop was a customer.

In the meantime, Charlie Meisriemel has tricked a police officer and stole a car. When Commissioner Lorenz stops him and tells him to get out, he goes full throttle and wrecks the car.

Resi Berghammer invites Prelate Hinter to coffee and cake. The commissioners are also present. They suggest that Hinter withdraw the charges against Anton Grill, especially since Father Matthias has forgiven the teacher for the attack. He should also act on the school administration to reverse the suspension. In return, they would make sure that the real circumstances of the bishop's death did not come to light. After a moment's consideration, the prelate thinks it is a cheap offer.
